Dhobi Ghaat is an upcoming Hindi film produced and directed by Kiran Rao in her directorial debut. The film will release in theatres on 25 December 2010. The film stars Aamir Khan and Prateek Babbar.[1] Aamir Khan is said to have a lead role in the movie as a painter.[2] A.R. Rahman was approached for the music, but due to his tight schedules with Hollywood and a world tour, he declined the film. Hence, [3]another two-time Oscar-winning Hollywood composer, Gustavo Santaolalla was signed it to compose the score and soundtrack of the film. Dhobi Ghaat will have its world premiere in September 2010 at the Toronto International Film Festival.
